- 501c13 status obtained (obtained February 2024)
- Aquire cemetery site (completed March 2026)
- Prepare site as necessary for burial (underway)
- Establish administrative and policy infrastructure for cemetery operations (underway)
- Open the Red Hills Community Cemetery for operations before December 2027
- Offer a natural choice for whole body human burial and cremated remains burial
- Provide opportunities for participation of family and friends in meaningful burial ceremonies
- Provide a legacy space for individuals and families that helps to protect natural areas for future generations
- Develop and begin implementation of a conservation management plan
- Obtain a conservation easement and create a native restoration plan
- Initiate and maintain Perpetual Care Fund
Long Range Plans
- Obtain certification from the Green Burial Certification from the Green Burial Council.
- Provide community resources about important topics related to death and deathcare planning including educational workshops
- Create and implement community driven outreach and engagement; increase awareness across diverse populations
- Maintain financial stability to allow for reduced fees and increased accessibility for all populations
