The Red Hills Community Cemetery (RHCC) is building meaningful connections among
people, nature, and the cycles of life and death.

The mission of the RHCC is to provide its members with the services and setting for natural burial, while conserving, restoring, and stewarding the Cemetery’s ecosystem for future generations. Located on 40.5 majestic acres in Leon County, the RHCC site is bounded by State Forest, Lake Talquin, and a steephead ravine. A tapestry of rolling hills rich in native species, abundant pines, and towering hardwoods, the RHCC land will be protected in perpetuity by the RHCC as the region’s first exclusively natural burial cemetery.
